HudHUD Cyclone warning is issued by IMD -Indian Meterological Department .Severe cyclonic storm Hudhud, currently gathering over the Bay of Bengal to the east of India . Cyclone Hudhud likely to hit Odisha, Andhra Pradesh . This cyclone would cross North Andhra Pradesh coast around Visakhapatnam on 12th october 2014 noon .Heavy Rainfall warning and wind warning is issued . Heavy Raining in east Godavari, Visakhapatnam, Vijayanagaram and Srikakulam districts of north Andhra Pradesh and Ganjam, Gajapati, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Malkangiri, Kalahandi, Phulbani districts of south Odisha
Wind warning: Squally wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph gusting to 70 kmph would commence along and off north Andhra Pradesh and south Odisha coasts from 11th morning onwards. The wind speed would gradually increase to 130-140 kmph gusting to 155 kmph from 12th morning along and off north Andhra Pradesh
Update 1 : As per the latest update by the IMD at 2.00 pm, the cyclone is 500 km east-southeast of Visakhapatnam and 550 km south southeast of Gopalpur.
